Everyone that knew him knew that he loved racing his bike more than anything else. However, he never seemed to have time to perform those races because his boss was a slave driver who never gave him any time off. The problem with that was it was driving Jim to leave the job that he had fought so hard to get.
To go to the races that he liked he was going to leave the firm. He walked into his bosses office happy that he had enough cash to get a mongoose mountain bike. He handed his boss a letter of resignation that would allow him to get back to the races that he loved dearly.
As he opened the letter and seen what it was Jims boss started asking him to reconsider and that he would do anything that he could to keep him there. Jim decided to see how far his boss was willing to go and asked him to give him free vacation time and a pair of diamondback bikes. Jims boss agreed to that which shocked Jim tremendously. He was so shocked that he told his boss he would have to think it over before he could tell him if he would stay or not.
Jim told him that he would have to think the offer over for a while and would let him know before the end of the day. The problem was that Jim could really use the extra money that his boss was offering him and the extra bikes would definitely help him out.
Jim headed into the office that his boss occupied and told him that he would stay, but only if he got the promises in writing to back up any claims that he might face later on. The boss agreed knowing that this was going to be the only way he could keep his tremendously smart lawyer. So the promises were written down so their would not be any question in the he said she said market.
He was feeling happy at the end of the day as he walked out of the company. So happy that he had a case of tattoo fever and knew what exactly he was going to get. He headed into the stop with a design of his favorite bike on it and told the artist that he wanted that on his back.
He was shocked that it did not cost that much and decided to head to the store. While at the store he found a new uniform that would help improve his streamline ability. He walked out of the store with his new purchased clutched in his hand knowing that he could now win the one race that had alluded him for years.
